This manual is published under section 51 of the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA). It explains how to ask for records held by Lepas Johannesburg.

3. Guide from the Information Regulator
The Information Regulator publishes a guide on how to use PAIA. It is available at inforegulator.org.za and from the Regulator's offices in Johannesburg.

- Customer records: enquiries, quotes, sale agreements, finance applications, vehicle and service records.
- Employee records, supplier and dealer agreements, and stock records.

6. How to request a record
Send the prescribed request form (Form 2, available from the Information Regulator) to the information officer by email or by hand. Give enough detail to identify the record and say which right you want to protect. A request fee and, if the request is granted, an access fee may apply, as prescribed by regulation. We will respond within 30 days, which may be extended once by a further 30 days, and may refuse access on the grounds set out in PAIA.
